Our Story

Uptown Classic is a curated collection of home goods and self-care items. We were born from a young entrepreneur who lives in the “Uptown” section of Philly. People from this area are known to have eclectic tastes while boasting an “around the way” personality. We source items from black owned and women owned businesses. Our owner Janelle is passionate about economic equality and elevating BIPOC communities and businesses. She is also the owner of our handmade skincare line The Love of Moisture.
